Oakland Baptist Church accepts three basic teachings to guide our actions and activities:

 

 

Glorify God = Through obedient and submissive lives surrendered to His authority, we live – praise – worship and witness to His greatness.

 

 

Equip and Encourage = As a “body of believers”, we engage in collective worship, Bible study and fellowship to enable us to live faithful, holy lives in a sinful and chaotic world.

 

 

 

Evangelism = We fully accept the mandate of the Lord to go into the whole world with the message of hope, forgiveness and salvation that can be found in Jesus.
